Hi JK,

My understanding the 12 months could be any 12 out of 15 months immediately prior to the date of application.

Suppose you are sending application on 01-Jan-07 then also, one can state the earnings period from 01-Dec-05 to 30-Nov-06.

Cause you need some time to complie all the documents like employer letter, Banks statement etc.

So I think it need not be the immediate 12 month period prior to the date of application.

i am claiming 35 for PG and 45 for earnings..(7500). man i donno why my application reg earnings is getting so much of calculation..its all becos of fear..which one to take, what to take when...ooohhh..

guys,
one small clarification.
my NARIC letter says,

1. country-India

title of award: MBA
year-93
assessment: is considered comparable to british taught masters degree standard

2. country: India

title of award: bachelor of commerce
year-97
assessment: is considered comparable to british bachelor (ordinary) degree standard..

what does this ordiary mean...does the above two indicate that my MBA and degree are equal to british degrees

Freebirds.

I interprete it as your MBA is comparable to British Masters, meaning your 35 Points are secured for the Education section.

Hi,

You need to send your 10th/12th/Bachelor/Master degree certificate to NARIC.

With your case, where 10/12 Marksheets are in HINDI, definately they will not accept it in Hindi, so you get it transalted in English, and send the notarised copy to NARIC. Check before you send your contents.

Alternately, you can also enquire at the NARIC phone numbers for this specific problem. Also browse the NARIC site, you may get some hint on it.

Send the certificates u wana get evaluated...

No need to send 10/12 class certificates, if u dont want them to be evaluated...

If u send them too, they will start evaluating them too , will delay ur NARIC letter.

Yeah, u can send ur bachelors and masters both, coz they want both of them to be at BRITISH LEVEL...

Post by peterindia25 » Mon Jan 08, 2007 12:02 pm

i came to know that uk immigration officers will personally visit applicants work place to verify their work experience.

have u applied for HSMP and did u notice like that ?

freebirds wrote:good ya...may be in delhi post dept works on sundays alos..becos of chritsmas and new year. good good.
i have to wait for two more days. btw...here is the list of docs am submitting..

previous earnings

1. 12 month pay slips company letter head attested
2. bank statements 12 months attested
3. letter from CA abt 12 months gross earnings
4. SARAL form attested by IT dept for the period apr05-mar06. but my earnins are from dec1st05--nov30th06. so from apr06-nov06, i will pay tax in next year.for this i got a letter from charted accountant stating the same.
5. IT payment challan and computation fom
6. OANDA.com pound rate as of NOV-30TH 06.
7. form16 printed from company website payroll

education
MBA original + transcripts
B.COM orignal + transcripts
medium of instruction from university.

will wait for NARIC letter also.

my doubt is ..do i still need letter from employer stating my gross earings for the past 12 months. and is SARAL is the correct proof for IT returns.

pl clear my doubts..also we will be submitting our application ..say on 27th by courier...and it might reach UK on 2nd jan..does the HSMP ask for dec month pay slip also..???

Hi Funny,

The NARIC is for the degree comparability, unless you know someone, who graduated from the same university, and received the points, I suggest you better get the NARIC evaluation.

Hi,

If you want to send the comparison for Bachelor degree,
send following:

1) Copy of Degree certificate,
2) All Educational transcripts copy,
3) Cover letter explaining the reason for this evaluation.

Hi Funny,

I am not an HSMP expert, but telling you what I read so far from various sources, inculding this forum.

Probably, You have to show a continuous 12 month period (However, I am not sure on this). Someone, who used a broken period can better suggest.

If you try and get the duplicate pay slip, and get the letter from your employer, that will help you.

Alternatively, you can explain the same thing in the cover letter, citing missing pay slips, and giving out the reference to Bank statement.

What about your IT-return (SARAL) for F.Y. 2005-2006?
Do you have the Form-16 for this part year, in case you changed the job in between?

hi,

If you read some more posts here on this forum people are hard debating about the accepability of Form 16 and SARAL both.

I have attached both (Original SARAL and Photocopy of Form -16), as well as Income Tax Assessment report.

I suggest you submit both, if you have ITR-SARAL.
