Can my partner get job in UK,attending interviews frm India?

Hi,

Is there any way to get a job for my partner in UK? He is well experienced SAP ABAP consultant with XI certification, currently in India. I am in UK currently on a workpermit. Is there any way for him to attend interviews from India, projecting dependant visa? He has not yet applied for the visa. If he has to be in UK for attending interviews, he has to quit his current job, which could be risky. Please suggest how to proceed, if anybody of you has any idea.
