Time allowed after receiving approval letter

Post by ric1982 » Tue Aug 28, 2012 2:21 pm

Hi,

Just wondering how long can you delay the Citizenship ceremony after you receive the approval letter (longest possible time)?

The reason for this question is that there may be some travel in near future (not confirm though) and I would like to attend the ceremony after I come from abroad.

Any idea?

You should arrange your ceremony within three months of receiving your invitation otherwise you will have to reapply for naturalisation and pay a further processing fee.
