Hello
I am asking help for one of my friend who is due to apply for ILR on the basis of Old 5 year work permit with same employer.
Now the situation is that company making everyone compulsory redundant on 21st December 2012 and my friend is eligible for ILR on 15th October.
Company HR may give letter to support my friend ILR but they won't wright in letter that he will be employed by company for foreseeable future.
On the other side Head of Department or Team Manager ready to give letter and ready to provide statement that he will be still employed by company for foreseeable future. Our manager will sign the letter as well.
I am not sure whether it will be acceptable during in person appointment?
I need some advice on this matter on behalf of my friend urgently.
