Apply for PR after living in UK for 5 year ( tier1 + tier 2)

I have query on applying for PR.I had come here on tier 1 General Visa & have been here for 2 years with a company.Now my company has agreed to sponsor me with tier 2 general visa.Will i be able to apply for PR after i complete 3 years here in Tier 2 General.

In other words will be eligible to apply for PR after living in the UK ( for 5 yrs )with 2years tier General & 3 yrs Tier 2 General visa.Thanks !!
