PEO Cardiff - Email Received

Post by mrjsg » Wed Aug 29, 2012 4:38 pm

Hi,

I received an email from BEU.Cardiff@ukba.gsi.gov.uk with below information

"With reference to Tier 1 General cases: we are only able to process EMPLOYED Tier 1 General cases here in Cardiff. If you are applying for a Tier 1 General visa and are self employed or a director of a company, we are unable to make a same day decision in Cardiff and these applications will be sent to a specialist team for further investigation. You are advised to make a postal application, due to the complexity of these cases. "

Anybody else received this email?

thanks,

As per the email you received, your case is complex due to self employment. I read on the UKBA site for Cardiff that they cannot consider your POE application if:
your case is complex; or
your case is not covered by the Immigration Rules; or
your sponsor is a staff member of the Home Office or the UK BA

See the link below where it says "check whether you can use the premium service for your type of application"

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/about ... pointment/

And you are not alone, please see this link where others have shared the same experience:

Hope this helps.

Hi Angie,

Thanks for your reply. I'm not self employed so my case is not complex. I just received this email to confirm my appointment and that text was in the email as a special note.

Thanks,

Well then it was just a disclaimer that does not apply to you.

Regards.
