Is there a minimum salary requirement for a tier 2 visa, does GBP 22,000 satisfies that for a Sr. Software Engineer?

22K is not enough for Senior Software Developer/ Software Engineer (How come someone working as a Senior of Salary < Graduate Salary ?? ) .

Looking at the SOC Codes you need to be earning at least 37K+ for Senior Software Engineer.

But remember its your Employers responsoibility to find right SOC Code.The most nearest code you can use is "Senior Programmer" ,for that you'll have to earn at least 31K+ (based on 37.5 hours/ week).


The job title doesn't need to match with their list.
