Thats why I'm surprised in the UK postal order is like cash They dont have to call or contact anyone. U should chase it up and explain to them that the payment should have cleared by now. See what they say & Good Luck

Decision made

Post by flamenco » Tue Jan 09, 2007 3:51 pm

Just received an e-mail from H.O informing that a decision has been taken on my application. They asked me to arrange the courier for collection of documents. Just wondering what the outcome of my application is going to be. My time line is as follows:-

Application sent: 19 December (Out of country application)
Received by H.O. 21 December
Reference obtained: 28 December
Decision made: January 9

Waiting anxiously for the documents but optimistic about the outcome.

Hi All,

Application sent: 26 December (Out of country application)
Received by H.O. : 28 December
Reference obtained: 05 January
Ref. Number: 203XXX
Status: Waiting in the Queue (Not allocated to case worker yet)

I sent the additional documents, and those are now linked with the original documents.

Hi,

I called them, and they confirmed that the additional docs. are tied to the Original docs.

Do you have reference number now?
You could have waited till reference number.

Ok..Actually I thought of waiting till my reference number comes.

I called them and asked whether it is ok to use payment reference number to send additional docs, the guy told it is fine and told that I should send docs immediately. That's why I sent those

Hi,

At some point they will pickup the call. I think this is because of heavy traffic.

Almost they are taking 7-12 minutes to pick the call.

Hi

Has anyone applied from the Gulf? Here, the only correspondence address that a person can give is his Work address. But I received an email from the Case worker asking for my residential address. I have given him my permanent address in India, but not sure where they will send.

Would anyone have any idea?

My application details are:

Application sent: Dec 20
Application received : Dec 22
Reference received : January 9 (No 203xxx - I called them). Was told that application is in queue and not allotted to caseworker.
Email received: January 10 (asking for residential address)

Cheers
