All praises for Allah Alone

Today on this blessed Jummuah day my Wife has got her visa

I stopped counting after 100 days around !

This batch did take a bit of time, but that's life

Thanks for everyone on this forum and the previous one for all the help guides and experiences

I pray to Allah swt to give everyone patience who are still waiting

How can the ECO assume that the funds are not ours when they checked my bank account which is my name. And its a personnal savings account??? How unethical and brutal
Brothers and sisters we are down and any suggestions on how to go about the appeal will be a great help, also does a judge hear the appeal, and should we expext something better from him/her.

Just because you have money in your bank account,it does not necessarily mean that it is yours. It is quite common in Pakistan, to deposit large amounts of money in bank account just before an application.Unfortunately without proof where that money came from, the application is always refused

Congrats to all those who've had their Visa's Granted this week and commiserations to all those who weren't successful...

1nad321 and farah123: Yes you'll need to show a valid TB test certificate on arrival at a UK Airport... Remember to keep your TB certificate in your hand luggage whilst travelling or you'll experience delays at the UK airport as you won't have access to your suitcases until after you've checked in.. My wife will be re-doing her TB test next week before arriving in the UK as her old certificate expired during the application process at BHC.

What I don't get is those who are asking if they need a valid TB cert.
Quite a few people I know were given their visas suddenly that they didn't have the 28 days for example a friend of mine had around 6 days to book a ticket and come to the UK because her application was in Gerrys that whole time. She came to the airport with the TB cert ( which was out of date) and they made no fuss and let her through after checking her arm.

Is there a time limit for my wife to get here by? Ie.. 28 days, 15 days etc? Gerrys didnt mention anything of the sort and im told she has a 2 year visa...

Firstly contragtzzzzzzz to all that have recv a visa !!!... May Allah tala bless all if u n keep u happy inshallah,

Secondly really sorry to those who got the visa refused.. May Allah tala the all mighty grant u sabar and reunite u qwik..

And 3rdly all the ones that r waiting as well as my self inshallah pray fr each other and I pray that Allah tala grants n gives us good news !!.. Ameen. Congrats hashim lool !... Waiting paid off !!...

@SKSTAR did ur cousin ask sum1 if he had to travel within in 28 days. You have to travel within three months it changed to that about 2 years ago.

tb certificates been expired, when u re-do test does it have to be at iom?
Or at any hospital?
Do the immigration officers in uk take this seriously?

My wife's TB test will take place at an IOM.. i'm told they're results and certification provide greater confidence than results from your average pakistani hospital for assessor's and users..

I could be wrong but i'd rather get it done properly and professionally from specialists to avoid any unwanted hassle even though it is a more expensive option...

honestly i am so happy for u all

im so sorry to hear about the refusals, may Allah give u sabr and strength to get through thid difficult time. Ameen

now we all know things are moving forward, so all who are waiting, lets all pray for one another Insha'Allah good news awaits us all. i think us remaining march applicants will hear on monday. im so worried but need to stay possitive. i hate to think what all u r going through (people who have been refused).

TB tests can only be undertaken by UKBA approved organisations and not by hospitals.These are important document which without it, your visa will not be issued

You only need a valid TB certificate at time of having your visa stamped.You do not need a valid TB certificate on arrival at a UK airport ( an expired one will do just fine)

She can travel at anytime as long as the visa is valid (ie for two years).However most people prefer to arrive within 3 months of visa being stamped,so they meet the requirements of the next stage of application which is the ILR in 24 months time

I really appreciate the time you took out to jot down this detailed guide and a headsups.

As for the Funds, I had shown a personnal bank statement as they had asked for it, but I have sufficient Company Bank account statements to show the transactions...ample of proof..

As for the tenancy here are the problems:

My brother in law currently rents out a two bedroom apartment, which as per the 'adequate accommodation requirements' is not enough for us and our two sons below the age of 10

As we are both outside the UK, it really beats me how and why would they expect to satisfy this pre-condition when we havent even reached there and have not been issued a visa yet.

I mean how many relatives would one have who would have 2 rooms vacant for the next 6 months for us or for anyone for that matter.

Now since we have the funds and with additional company accounts shown would prove the it is MY money and funds, therefore when we get there we can rent a property

or Should my brother in law, rent out a 3 bedroom and send back a tenancy agreement, also showing the landlords permission for us to stay there when we get there after 6 months IF the appeal is successfull, the problem there is, neither my brother in law can afford the upkeep of the 3 bed house/apartment or we pay for it where we wont live for the the next 8 months and god knows if ever. There has to be some other way around this? Right?

What if my wife were to travel to the UK and rent an apartment within this week, since we have 25 days to go, attach the tenancy contract which would be on my brother in law and her name to the appeal with all the other financial proof and send it by post there? She can either take the kids with her or leave them here with me, in any case which would be ripping us apart, and wait for the appeal there, to show up in person if it ever gets to the court, would this ensure a better outcome? would this be the right thing to do, because sitting here in the limbo for another 8 months after the previous 6 months looks like a nightmare....kindly would appreciate you and all to suggest...would her representing our case make it stronger, since we applied in march and the appeal is considered part of the same on going process so therefore the 18600 earning precondition does not apply?

Or should we hire a lawyer, where at? and how? How would he or she be able to expedite the process and ensure a better judgement given the current ridiculous tenancy problem we we face?

This forum has been a great help to others, and I thank all in advance for all the support, King, your input certainly came as fresh air.
