HSMP/Tier1 extension using PEO

Hi,

I got my initial visa as HSMP visa in 2008 Jan. Later i got extension as Tier 1 in 2009 December, valid till Jan 2013. But i am running short of 1month for ILR. So i am going for another extension. I like to go for same day premium service. Am I eligible for this service ?

Our public enquiry offices cannot consider your application if you are:

a person who has been given discretionary leave to remain or humanitarian protection;
a person with a poor immigration history;
applying for permanent residence on the basis of 10 or 14 years' residence;

applying for an extension of your visa on the highly skilled migrant programme;

a business person, innovator, sole representative or investor;
a seaman;
a Gurkha; or
an elderly dependant.


In the above they say, i cant apply through peo if i am applying extension based on HSMP. Is my understanding correct ? I am sure there will be lot of others in similar situation. Please help.

please clarify are you employed or self employed...

Looking from your name looks like you got the Entry Clearance after getting HSMP ? if this is true then you might be able to apply for ILR rather than having to apply for extension.

If you entered in UK within 3 month of your EC start date , then no need for extension
