This just gave me a fresh hope that your neighbour received his approval after 5yrs and 2mnths., i have been patiently waiting now over 4 yrs and 10mnts. :(
For those that have been waiting for this long, did you call the INIS dept? what has been the response from the support workers?

I have been waiting for over 2 years now approximately 2 years and 2 months and i am not happy at all. The usual response i have been getting is gardai report!!!

hearty congratulations to all those who have gotten their approval for irish citizenship, most especially to those who have waited years for this day to arrive.

I pray my time and those waiting for approval come soon (this year) Amen ... its not easy to be on the waiting list for long...
