Help!! Rejection because earnings don't match bank statement

Post by QuantGuy » Sun Sep 09, 2012 7:53 pm

Hi. Hope someone can help me understand my rejection. From my rejection letter:
"The evidence you have supplied do not corroborate each other because your wage slips and dividend payments are not shown credited to your bank account."

This utterly baffles me as I provided the bank statement for both my limited company and my personal bank account. My limited company statements show deductions for "personnel and dividends" and my bank statements show a credit on the same date for the same amount from my limited company. The ONLY thing I can think of is that, for some reason which I can't remember right now, the accountant calculated my earnings above all of the payments that were made to my personal account. However, the drawings that were made were more than what I needed to have my visa renewal approved. I created a table that showed the drawings with references to the limited company bank statement page and my personal bank statement page for each payment. I had a line item that stated "Amount remaining to be drawn."

So, was I rejected because I claimed earnings that were higher than my drawings? Or, because the explanations for the debits and credits on my bank statements weren't detailed enough? I just don't understand this at all! :(

it looks like the amount shown in payslips and dividend vouvher didn't match...
1. Match the amount in payslips and dividend voucher with your bank statement ?

2. Check the pay date in payslips. Is it correct??

3. Ask your accountant to produce a salary breakdown letter showing the pay period, gross amount, net amount, tax deduced and pay in date..
