I have noticed that people that applied in March are getting a reply. Can people who applied in June start putting their timeline up. Here's my wife's visa application!:

Ready For Collection: STILL WAITING

Im really tired of waiting, you call this a life having to wait half a year and if your wife is in Europe its a matters of days. Discrimination is what it boils down to

Still waiting, i've been keeping track of people who applied in march from this thread. So far it's mainly applicants who applied in the last 10 days of march that are awaiting a reply so insha'Allah we can expect something in the next week maybe :)

Hey Shazia,

i think it will take the full 26 weeks, but we should get ours roughly at the same time. My wife submitted her case at Mirpur on the 06/06/12 and i haven't received anything back either.

Inshalah :)

Do you blame them? I think the policies they are implemting are brilliant. Not only are they trying to limit immigration as they rightly should because this country is over-crowded as it is. But they are also ensuring that genuine immigrants come through whereas in the past entire family trees would come through as soon as one person got a VISA.

You knew you would have to wait several months when you applied, you knew there was the possibility of a refusal, even a incorrect refusal and you may have to wait up a year or even more if it goes to court. So why complain now?

I don't get it, why do people complain about how long it takes for a VISA to the Uk as if it's their God given right to have it.

Wait, it's quite clear hundreds of Pakistanis are applying each week, there's only so much a human can do, so wait and you will get your response.

King2be - I always find your comments to be very unhelpful. Can you please keep your prejudices to yourself.

A forum user is correctly pointing ut that the UKBA website is holding information that is 2 months out of date. Your rant takes into account, overcrowding Britain, why complain, is getting a visa a right.

All of the above is unhelpful and insulting.

Anybody has a right to complain about a service standard that is shoddy at best. Telling people to accept it, just because thats the way it is. That might be the Iraqi way but it's not the British way.

God given right to a VISA - Most of the forum users on this thread are waiting for a spousal settlement visa. It is their right to get a visa, try reading the Right to Family Life Act.

I dont even know why im responding to yuo King2be - You always try and evoke a response, try to rile up other users.

A look at your past comments confirms this.

Spuse visa delays from Pakistan

Post by solospy » Thu Sep 13, 2012 12:12 pm

My wife and my son applied for their settlement visas on 14th June 2012 from Islamabad. I thought that their application would be dealt without major investigations because for the facts below:

Me and my wife are married for over 3 years.
My wife was granted UK spouse visa in Dec 2008 when i was on work permit.
My wife lived with me in the UK for over 2 and a half years as my spouse.
We had a son who was born in the UK in 2009.

They had to go back last year because of urgent need of travel just before their visa expired. I was foolish enough to think that i will apply their visas from Pakistan.

Its been over 12 weeks now. i know other people are waiting longer but our case is different because of the above facts, but still UKBA are taking ages to decide.

UKBA should have known that the visa applications would increase due to changes in July and they should have planned accordingly, but i guess that proves the fact again that british Govt departments are just not good at planning things efficienctly.

Anyway best of luck to me and everybody who is waiting for their family visas from pakistan.
