king2be98 wrote:The problem for you is that AIT let you down, not UKBA. The AIT responded so late, why did they take 3 months to send the notice of pending appeal? Unacceptable.

You should complain to the AIT for the poor service because every single person gets their appeal handled inside 5 weeks if they make a payment, you are the first person who's appeal was process so late.

As for the second comment, no they don't always call you before issuing a call letter. Sometimes as in my case and in aaaa123's case, you are merely sent the call letter in the form of an email.

It really does depend on your grounds for appeal, if they don't want to be humiliated by the judge in court, they will withdraw, otherwise it may go to court. I hope for your sake they withdraw.

Hi Guys... im sory to add my late reply as i was in pakistan i could not add my timeline in....
Well I applied 2 weeks before King2be and 2 weeks after syma and about a month before aaaaa123..............I havent heard anything im so gutted.

Zully a lot of people are getting withdrawals on their appeals so they are actually reviewing more appeals it seems. I wouldn't worry too much yet, they will probably overturn yours soon as well. It's a case of which ECM is doing it, one might be busier than the other.

What is your deadline date?

Best of luck prince and Zully.

Yes, Zully they will review your case soon. They are clearing through the back log, so we are seeing appeals being overturned faster.

Not everyone has their decision reviewed by the same ECM, the one reviewing Zully's case might be different to the one reviewing prince's case, hence it's hardly ever a first come first serve thing, personally I think it should be, but it isn't.

There really is only one thing we can advise during this 19 week period, which is to wait patiently. Not much we can do to push the decision to be made sooner.

If it's relevant to your case, then send it, if not don't. In this case it would only be relevant in terms of financial support ie. some of your income would go towards the baby, however you applied and appealed well before the new changes, so it's not relevant.

If it's relevant send the document.

I sent an email on this address:

visaenquiries.islamabad@fco.gov.uk

I wrote a request asking them to review my case swiftly, as the decision had been withdrawn and I have been waiting for more than 8 months.

8 months since appeal. Yes, they take a long time to respond, and sometimes they do not. I hope they improve their correspondence, it is very hard to not know if your email ever reached anyone. An acknowledgement is better than none at all.

yeh the email is if you got queries regarding your application. visaenquiries.islamabad@fco.gov.uk just email that if you have any questions or if you want any updates, Inshallah they will reply to you. but dont know saying what. hope they do give an update. Please remember me in your Dua's been nearly 3 years married and also have a Baby Girl Mashallah and its so hard without them. I just Pray To Allah SWT That we get a response very quick Ameen.
