My baby was born on Sep 13 and I would prefer to apply for his british passport. Assuming me and my wife get our ILR next week in the premium service appointment on Sep 26, I have the below question:
Me and my family plan to fly out of the country to India on Jan 6 2013. I return by Feb 4th and my wife and baby plan to return in April. Assuming we apply for baby's BC by october 2012 first week and the process takes more than 3 months, can me and my family still travel out(baby with indian passport) in Jan 2013 before my baby acquires his BC and then use his British passport to enter the country when it is available? i.e. Can the baby leave the country without a valid visa + do I need to submit my indian passport or biometric along with my baby's BC application as this may hinder my travel plans?
