Looking at the above time lines I ("girish1428") am becoming very hopeful of getting a result. I can see results for the appointments on 20th, 21st and 24th august. Mine was on 24th. So, fingers crossed. But anything can happen as I can see many whose appointments were months ago !

I am still waiting from 14 March applied on premium service and handed over this further enquiries letter. Never been asked for any more documents as such. I did had over 90 days once but that also overcome with this 6 months waiting. Even if UKBA reset my 5 year clock after I arrived (> 90 Days) on 19 Aug 2007 then also I have now spent required time. Anyway this was to mention that am also in waiting list :-(

Hi coolbawa, I thought you must have gotten a feedback by now since you have been quiet. So unfortunate we are in this position. DId you try calling UKBA since it is over 6 months?

Is there anyone who got approval or is waiting with the following condition please?

1. Out of UK >90 in 1 go (my situation -->120 days in 1 go)
2. During that period worked for same company abroad (India) and got salary in India but nothing in the UK.

PEO Sheffield Deffered Case

Post by zoya888 » Wed Sep 19, 2012 9:17 am

Hi All,

We applied on 13 Sep 2012 (Last thursday) for ILR on 5 year WP basis and also for my spouse at PEO Sheffield.

Not many questions asked, letter was given for further enquiries and CW said will get in touch in 3 working days ( 18 Sep 2012) via phone.

Nothing heard or received until yesterday (18 Sep 2012). Phone number on the letter does not work (line has bee closed out in June). Website has no info except says not to get in touch unless waiting for more than 6 months.

Same Day Service to 3 days to 6 months- so inconsistent.

No additional documents were asked.

Any idea. Straight case of 5 year WP with the same company. Not more than 100 days in total 5 years. No leave more than 30 days continuously.

So we are waiting as some of you!! Premium service concept is completely flawed...

Hi Bash, Yes I continuasly tried on 0870 number but they are nothing more than useless! They tell that your application is still not complete/ in process thats the only update we know and we can tell and these bunch of I**** are so rude that after reading through the same script 'Your application is not complete yet and UKBA will contact you in due course' just say thanks for calling and nothing else... I am so fed up now with this dept. Just hoping to get over it soon..

Did you try writting, emailing or involving your MP? I have just written a letter each to Croydon and Liverpool, emailed both UKBACustomerComplaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
PEOComplaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk (CCed my MP) and called up my MP to follow up UKBA.

Hi Bash, I did contacted my MP after 2 months and MP office followed it up Thrice and same reply was given from UKBA that aplication is active and in process and cannot provide any time lines to completion. I have now written emails to same addresses and its been almost 1 week with no reply. I will also write them complaint letter today and send in mail and last resort trying Parliamentary Ombudsman is also on card if I dont see any resolution in next week or so.... I think more you think more you get frustrated... and wait is only way out as they dont care. It seems to me that my application is stuck in the system and not being able to retrieve or showing in back log for some reason as I dont believe if any check can take that long if it can be done on same day!!

What do you think?

Bash, Yeah I remember that thread but I am just thinking to give week or two before taking next step. Do you know any good lawyer in this context? I dont know whether lawyer will be doing what we are, writing to UKBA and all for extra money but if they do hold more weight then why not!

I unfortunately don't know any.........i am equally weighting the lawyer option as well but will wait till 6 months before doing that. Please do keep me updated if you get to use any and the outcome.

It does work in some cases but would depend on the UKBA personel that picks up the reminder either via letter or email. Some of them don't just care, i sure pray things change because I am already cracking.
