If she has no funds by the time the staff from the BHC make their enquiries with the bank,it will most likely be refused.Money simply doesn't disappear from ones account overnight. What is the reason for this?

Hi, i made application in August for my wife in Pakistan. Do i need to have same amount shown in bank statements when i submitted the case. My current account is up and down but i have a saving account that is stable and will show same amount or higher. Do BHC make enquiries with the banks to check if money is in there.

I had £7k in my current account when I applied for my wifes visa, but I transferred a significant chunk of it to my savings account after the visa application was submitted by my wife in May.

Will this have any effect?

Surely BHC dont get in touch with the bank to confirm balance?

I didn’t think BHC would actually get in touch with our banks and enquire the balance amount? Do they really do that or only go by the bank statements we provide to them at the time of application?
Applied at Islamabad: 25/06/2012
Under process at BHC: 09/07/2012

Week 21... INSHA'ALLAH it will be granted soon. Please make dua people and my duas are with everyone out there.

There is no need to have any kind of huge balance in your bank accounts during your spouse application (considereing the amount of time taken by UKBA to decide the applications). It is not possible to keep the same balance over 6 months or 9 months so to say. There is no requirement of any kind of minimum balance to have in your account at the time or during your application, as long as you have proven that the income from your employment matches with your bank statements.

BHC can't do that, both they and the bank would be breaking just about every data protection act out there. That is why they ask you to provide evidence of your saving and your current bank balance.

Can't believe im agreeing with King2be but he is correct, uk banks are not allowed to give out account information to third partys unless it is for the investigation of a crime, and even then it isn't that easy... so there is no way they would provide ukba with info

I agree i'm really dissapointed i think they should give half our money back as they haven't took on any extra people. Also the people are currently employed are working at the same rate as before with no haste. The government is obviously thinking about profiteering over effeciency

Please keep me updated and do make dua for me and all those waiting.
