Query regarding Earning power-Monthly Gross or Monthly Basic

Hello Everyone,
I am applying for HSMP from India , I have one doubt in getting Earning points. Do the HSMP team consider MONTHLY GROSS SALARY BEFORE TAX OR MONTHLY BASIC Salary?

The guidance states:

"We will assess your <some words missing> over a total period of up to 12 months out of the 15 months immediately prior to your application. The earnings can be for any 12 month period out of the last 15 months. This applies if you are in salaried or non-salaried employment."

To find out what the missing words are I guess you'll need to read the guidance.

Read the HSMP guidance notes on the HSMP website. It is salary before tax they consider but you must also prove that you did pay tax.

Its 'gross', not 'basic'. For better information, please go thru guidance notes thoroughly.
