Well, their website says 65% of cases are decided within 4 weeks... Ugh. I don't know if they've checked our company. As far as I know, they're still looking over applications from the first week of April; we applied in the middle of May. It's absolutely shocking.

They are doing on purpose. Shame on them.

From the report I generate it seems they are assigning at least 10-20 licenses everyday (since last week). It might be they are picking up now.

That's promising! How many were they assigning back in July and August, do you know? And thank you for poring over the reports for us.

It does come with un-restricted COSs when you are approved.

What does it mean? I am applying under un-restricted category. So you mean that the COS number will be immediately issued once my organization will enter my details in SMS ? or will it take some time to get that COS number?

My visa is due to expire on the 9th of December this year and my employer has requested for an unrestricted COS for Tier 2 General in the first week of July. As you know, UKBA are processing allocation requests made in March. I am 5 months pregnant and will not be able to air-travel after 1st week of November. This is causing stress to me. I've asked my employer to chase on the COS allocation and my employer has also attached a letter from my mid-wife to the email (sent on the 18th of September). The Customer Service Agent has replied to my employer with the below on the 21st of September.

" Thank you for your enquiry,
Your information has been passed to the appropriate team for consideration.
Should the caseworker require further information and/or documents they will contact you.
I do hope this helps."

1) Do you think UKBA will my case as a very urgent one?

2) If not, what else should my employer do to expedite it?

UKumar, do you think my employer's request will be treated as a very urgent one? Have your employer received a similar acknowledgement when they have made Urgent Request for you? Please keep me posted.

HI Ukkumar,

Thank you for your reply. How will we know if our application is being considered "Urgent Treatment"? How long do we have to wait? Do you know anyone whose COS was approved after receiving the above message? How long did it take for them after receiving this message?

Thank you.

Hi santoshimaa

No any Idea, on 03/09/12 i came to know our application are in process but after that week they closed phone line and started email inquiry.

So from that day we have only formal emails as you received.

SO NO IDEA what they are going to do on our urgent request.

cheers

Company Name change during application process ????????

Post by UKkumar » Thu Sep 27, 2012 1:16 pm

Hi ALL,

Company Name change during application process ????????
Does any one know what to do in the case of company name change while application are in process.

My employer tried to ask UKBA to whom to contact what document need to send and where to send.

They are playing game, not straight answer. They send us …

There is no particular form that exists for your purposes but xxxx is correct in that the ‘Sponsor Change of Circumstances’ form would be the most appropriate – you can’t yet have a Level 1 User as your Sponsor Licence application is yet to be decided.

“This form must only be used to report the following changes where your company does not have an existing level 1 user with access to your sponsorship management system (SMS) account:”

So they are good in making mess!!!!!!!!!!!

Does any one know what to do in the case of company name change while application are in process ????

cheers

Hi muhdkhokhar,

Thanks for the update. It seems they peaked up the speed.

Your post occupied massive space and hide our discussion, if you are planning to post everyday then it is good idea to post only link of document or may be creating new post with link.. or just no of lice issued...

Great effort please keep it up…

What does it mean? Doest mean that the organizations who applied in June is already getting the license?
