Short on earnings - Tier 1 Extension - Suggest me Options

Post by ca4nul » Sat Sep 29, 2012 2:29 pm

Hi Friends

my tier1 (G) extension is due on 13 April 2013. I need to earn atleast £20,000 to qualify for this. But it seems with my current job (that just started) i only be able to show £17500 till April 2013 (start of april)

So my question is can i apply 2 weeks after 13 April 2013 (means two weeks on no VISA), This is because my next payslip comes and i'll be OK to meet £20,000 min earning.

or i have to have a part-time job to meetup my earning.

Thank you very much.

Regards
Naveed

Do you wish to apply for settlement in the UK in the future?

Then any out-of-time application will reset your ILR clock.

In other words, if you apply for extension within 28 days of expiry of your leave (13-Apr-13) your application will be accepted and approved if you qualify but you will be in the UK as an overstayer from 13-Apr-13 till such date that your extension application is approved. This will reset your ILR clock and you may then only be eligible for settlement only after 5 years from the date your out-of-time application is approved (2018).
