Financial Requiremtent

Post by njpal » Sun Sep 30, 2012 12:56 pm

Getting really stressed over this. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks.

My wife and I got married in India in July 2012. I’m a UK British National working in full time employment. Monthly salary is 2,800 after tax on a 3 year contract. I only started this job 2 months ago hence only have 2 payslips confirming the above.

Prior to this I was employed only from Jan 2012 – June 2012 with a monthly salary of 2500 after tax.

And before this was working from Aug 2010 – May 2011 with a salary of 2,000 monthly after tax

My P60 from July 2012 shows:

Total for year Pay: 16664.50 Tax deducted 1837.00
Previous employment Pay 8732.57 Tax deducted: 1123.20

Is this good enough to meet the 18,600 requirement?
Is there anything I should do to make my case stronger?

Thanks

It'd be easier if you asked your questions in a single thread.

Since you've only been at your job for the last 2 months - you have to prove your income over the last 12.

Because all your figures for monthly income are post-tax, and UKBA are really interested in PRE-tax income - you easily qualify.

Just don't forget to include your P60 and all payslips from the last 12 months and include all bank statements from the last 12 months.

If your gross earnings for the last 12 months were less than £18600 then you don't qualify. Are you saying that your p60 shows you earned £16664?
