Tier 2 (General)

Post by Abshar » Tue Sep 25, 2012 10:40 am

Hi guys,

I applied for Tier 2 (general) PBS visa on 17th of August at VFS, Delhi. Its been almost 6 weeks and I have not recieved any information regarding the outcome of my application. They have my degree and Passport and even my solicitor in London is not able to trace the reason for the delay. She said, it might be possible that UKBA has lost or misplaced my documents. I am worried, please suggest me what should I do. I have mailed to the VFS and UKBA both. VFS says I need to wait as the Visa is under process with British High Commission and UKBA email Id sent me an autoreply saying they would mail me in 20 days.

Guys please advice.

It can take up to 90 working days, so wait patiently.

BHC is unlikely to respond to your query unless the service standard is exceeded (120 working days).

Just received information from my lawyer in London that BHC has lost my documents and they are trying to find it on priority.

Please advice what should I do.

Let your lawyer handle it. If he cannot advice you, what's he there for?
How does he know for sure .. has he received a confirmation from BHC?
