issue no in HSMP application

Post by khanv » Tue Jan 16, 2007 9:04 am

hi all,

i have doubt regarding the 'issue no' field in the HSMP
application.

this field is available in the payment section(with credit card) of the
HSMP application form.

I have already called the bank details enquiring about
this , they have no clue about this 'issue no'.

can somebody let me know of what is this 'issue no'?

any clue would be helpfull

thanks
khanv

The issue no. as stated in the form is only applicable for switch/maestro card users in the UK. if you will use credit cards, no need to fill up this section....refer to guidance notes on payments...last item :D

Yes, agreed. Issue No is only applicable to selected debit cards in U.K... you do not need to worry about it.

hi all,

thanks very much for your reply.

this has cleared my doubts.

And also please answer one more question of mine.

there is also 'fax number ' field in the personal details section
of the hsmp form.

i dont have fax at my place , is that entry compulsory field.

i am asking this because , at the bottom of the 'personal details' section.
it has been written 'your application will not be processed without the
above details'

no need if you don't have a fax at home...
