Hi friends I got my approval in the old hsmp scheme. When I check my approval letter it was not signed by the case worker. On the first instance I cannot identify it but one of my friend told me that the sign should be there. I sent back the original letter to hsmp team and I got it before two days. It took around four weeks to get the letter. I hope this information can be helpful to some people.

jigs1982,
Thanks for quick response. I applied on 19th October and still waiting for decision. What took them for so long? Did your documents gone for verification? Any ideas?
Thanks

I applied from India. Whever I call them I get response like "Under Consideration". What kind of reply you were getting while enquiring?
Thanks

Ya, they verified my work experience. They called the company and asked for all my details. Three weeks after that verification I received my approval letter. So they do make checks. One of my friend applied with me, his work exp. was also checked by them but he got approval within just three days after the verification. So you never know their working procedure.

Thanks for the info. One more question while enquiring what answer you were receiving from home office?

They just respond me with the application status like it's been allocated to caseworker or under process. You never know what details are they checking and gonna check.

jigs1982, Thanks a million once again. Would you please throw some light on verification process? What kind of verification it was? what question did they ask and was it from BHC or from home office?
Thanks in advance.

The verification was done from bhc. They asked few questions to my employer about my job, salary and the company itself. but there were all normal questions, nothing special. If you have got reference no. in your letter than they may verify that with your employer as well. It may sound funny but the person who called for verification was speaking in our local language and not english !!!!

jigs1982,
I truly appreciate your help in this regard. I just heard from HO that decision has been made yesterday. So it just took little less than 3 months for them to come to any decision. I did inquiry but so far I heard from my company HR that no one has called them up. I am yet not sure about the what decision could have been. I will ring them up today and try to find it out..fingure crossed. I was running out of time and looks like my waiting is going to last very soon.
Thanks
