Can someone please provide me with a link of BHC/Gerry's site where I can see their processing times.

Has the processing times always been around 6 months for spouse visa? Is there a reason why it's taking so long.

That news is from 2011. A year ago. I remember watching this on ARY news last year.

Yes, apologies, didn't realize that it was 2011 and I have now deleted it from my post. But the following questions still remain un answered.. so please answer if you can.

Status just changed to : Your application is ready for collection; please visit the UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same 10/09/2012.

Please make dua it's a positive!

Alhamdulillah RFC Finally!!!

Insh'Allah wife will be going tommorow to collect and recieve the GOOD news insha'Allah. Pleeeeease pray for us brothers and sisters. I dont know how im going to sleep tonight.....

Visa granted alhamdulillah!!! So happy right now! When the Mrs got the RFC txt yesterday it said "collect mon thru friday" so Mrs was going to wait until Thurs to collect it. Obviously figured out they're into slang & were saying monday through to Friday!! lol

Best of luck for those who got RFC today and everyone else that is waiting. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. You are not forgotten!

Alhamdulillah my wifes visa was granted today. Thank you everyone for your Duas insha'ALLAH everyone will get an answer very soon please remember us in your Duas. The wait was long but worth it.

Congratulations to those who have received visa, I'm looking forwards to that day when my husband is granted visa, its a long and emotional wait but by the looks of it UKBA are speeding things up inshallah.

My husband applied on 28/06/12 so I am inshallah expecting to get news in December/January.

UKBA are taking 24 weeks to respond. My wife applied on 14/06/12 from islamabad, so i am expecting a response around 29th Nov when it will be 24 weeks.

Bro i thought that UKBA deals with every case differently and on the basis of individual circumstances. I was expecting a sooner response because my wife lived with me in the UK for nearly 3 years on a spouse visa when i was on Work permit and my son was born in the UK in 2011. Unfortunately just before their visa was expiring they had to go back to pakistan for an emergency, So i thought they can apply from pakistan and it wont take long but i was wrong.

I guess UKBA are dealing with applications on the basis of when they are recieved.

How often do batches of visa decisions usually come through?

Before the current lots of decisions (Monday/Tuesday) the last lot out about 3 weeks abck?
