thanks Krishnalvr,

you already complained so you should be waiting for the result. but the link you send was for EEA application. there will be a different way of dealing different type of application i believe .

i already told you guys i dont have job as well and no agency is ready to accept that further enquiry letter .
Thanks Ryan - I feel really sorry to hear about your case.

I pray that Border agency will hear our voice and protect us from further damages in our daily lives.

I have also heard that this is something related to funding / budget as immigration dept. does not enough resources and funding to handle the cases - so may be indirect message to us that we need create a voice to govt. to resolve immigration dept. demands.... Not sure but any senior from the forum can please advise / guide how should we handle this situation.... Many Thanks

Hi Ryan/Krishan,

Sorry Ryan to hear about your case where you lost your job because of your Pending Visa application and again sorry to Krishna as well for the stress he is going through.

I am wondering what will be the effect if you guys (especially Ryan) escalate your issues to UKBA chief Executive and Home Secretary??

Well they are the people who should be accountable for what UKBA does or Did and its worth trying by giving a shot e-mailing them?

Hi All, Apology for delay in my response. We received a phone call on 20th Sep at 12.10pm and the CW communicated approval. ~I asked the reason for further check and said that they couldnt find some details of my entry clearance so had to contact other departments on this. This was tracing the data from 10 years ago and was archived elsewhere so there was a delay.

The CW at the PEO actually said it will be 3 days and considering we went on a thursday, it took 5 days so we received the call the following thursday.

All the best to the people waiting.

Hi Everyone, I would like share this experience,I asked for information under Freedon of Information act from UKBA to see how many applications were submitted on the same day I applied under same category and how many were deffered and how many are pending till Sept 21 (the day I wrote the letter) and interestingly UKBA came back with reply that 14 applications were deffered but all were decided till Sept 25th and no more pending application!!! Till date I am still waiting to hear from them and moreover received another letter dated 27th September (in reply to my previous email complaint) informing me that my case is still with senior caseworker and being assessed!!! I dont know which letter to believe.... They are just making mockery of themselves...

Because of poor service standards of UKBA , they delayed my application nothing else is there to keep my application in pending state.

I have asked my mp to raise again my case with UKBA. She has referred my case to immigration minster then only they have processed my application and i received all my documents on Saturday.

Thanks for you all guys for your moral supports.

Hi all

It's going to be six months since I applied this week :( What is the best number to call UKBA on? I know they don't give much info over the phone even after it's been six months, but I would still like to call them for the sake of it.

Also, of the people who have been in touch with their MPs, is Mary Macleod anybody's MP? She is my MP and I was thinking of contacting her, but was would like some feedback from other people who may have contacted her in the past...

Thanks

I think you are belonging to Isleworth or Hounslow may be I am wrong. Mary Macleod is very good MP, you can give a call to their office and explain your issue and mention your personal problems if you don’t get visa. Mine Is also Hounslow, initially I contacted Mary Macleod, but when I check post code, our MP is different. She (Our MP) also responded promptly. Yesterday I received a mail from immigration minister’s secretary through our MP and mentioned apologies.

Reply from immigration secretary on 5th Oct
Thank you for your email and my apologies for the late reply.

The UK Border Agency has asked me to pass on its apologies to you and Mr Venkata for the delay in deciding his application. The documentary evidence supplied by Mr Venkata has been received and is currently being considered. I understand that the UK Border Agency hopes to be in a position to decide this case very soon.

Hi Krishnalvr,

how you know she is a good MP. she is my MP. she find out status for me which was under consideration. I called to her office and asked to chase with UKBA my application but his PA said we can't chase as it require lots of resources and there are many like you waiting so wait.

After 1 month i again email her to find the status and waiting for the reply.

regards,

ryan
