Post by Pooya » Fri Jan 19, 2007 5:04 pm

Dear Friend

I am very happy for you that your application is approved

I have not event recieved my HSMP reference number since 28th December.

They shouldn't have lost my application since the money has been deducted from my account on the 4th January 2007.

Still waiting to any response.

Good Luck

hsmp application sent on 28th December 2006

Post by Pooya » Fri Jan 19, 2007 6:25 pm

Hi guys

I have sent my application on 28th December 2006.

I have applied for 11 months period of my salary with the points of 70 + 20 points (age) =90.

Because I didn't have birth certificate, i sent notarized copy of my passport, that I don't know whether they accept it or not.

So, if I want to apply for 12 months period of my salary that will give me 75 points + 20 points (age) = 95.

My question is can I note it and change the documentations at the time of "Review application" if my current one is not approved?

Or I should make another application from scratch if the current one isnot approved?

I will be grateful to hear your suggestions
Thanks

I wonder what percentage of people that apply for HSMP are from India, Australia, USA , etc - is there a place which breaks that information down?

I hear that because they have opened up the gates to Eastern Europe, lots of foreigners are moving to England.

It's only a matter of time until the change the laws and no one can get even a HSMP. That is part of the reason why I applied (and later approved) a HSMP - do it now, or you might miss out.

England is the land of opportunity - although I have never travelled overseas, I look forward to getting away from Australia - this place is sooo rough. I don't know how people can stay here - no opportunity and not enough welfare system.

hsmp application sent on 28th December 2006

Post by Pooya » Sat Jan 20, 2007 10:53 am

Hi Guys

I recieved my application result today.

It is refused.

I am preparing a new fresh application as soon as possible.

Do you want to know the reasons?
* I didn't put P60 form for "Tax Return", so they didn't accept my income at all -- 0 points
* Although I had put mY original degree certificate, they didn't accept it as 5 points for studying in the UK, they said you needed to have additionally a letter from your university saying that you have studied there, this reason was rediculous.
* I had put notarized copy of my passport for my birth certificate, but they didn't accept the reason to consider the exceptional considerations.

Please help me, I am going to make another fresh application:
* I will get the P60 form from my employer, then my salary will be approved
* I will obtain the formally translated page of my original birth certificate (Iran)

Please let me know do they acccept the formaly translated page of my original birth certificate at all?

Thanks
Pooya

Application Rejected:

Post by nnj10 » Sat Jan 20, 2007 11:09 am

Hi All,

As expected, I received my REJECTION letter today, with the following reason:

Total Points Claimed: 95
Total Points Awarded: 95

Rejected because the english language requirement was not met:

Reason of Rejection:
"The Qualification is not recognised as equivalent to IELTS Band 6 by NARIC."

After sending my application and seeing the rejections here, I started sensing that this could be the only possible section, where they can reject. and that is what has happened.

I would be grateful, if Any one can quickly help me, I wanna send a new application, with IELTS.
How long does it take to get the through the IELTS, I am not worried for the preparation, that I am ready to give in a one week also, but how long does it take to get the result?

Pls. help.

Thanks,

Hi friend

I went to book my IELTS exam on 25th November
I booked it for 2nd December (I was lucky, I went to Eastbourne long way from London)
Exam results should come in 13 days, but mine came on 20th of December

This might give you an idea

Cheers

Hi Chakri,

Yes, I provided letter from the university, which specified all four stuff:
My Name, Qualification obtained, Date of Award and that it was taught in English.

Inspite of all this it is rejected.

I wish you good luck.

Aussiedude,

Can you tell me what did your letter mention.. Did it say categorically that you have been taught at IELTS level 6.5 or above that level...???

I was speaking to the call center for HO, the lady told me that the letter from the college / university would not help unless it mentions that the degree was taught above level ielts level 6.5 or above that..

Hi All,

I got refusal letter today from the HO on my HSMP Application i think my Caseworker is BLIND.

He havent given me points for my Age because i have no Birth certificate i did explain in my application that i lost my Birth Certificate in earth quack in pakistan. as an alternate i provided him my UK Provisional Driving Licence and Nortarised copy of my passport but that Blind D**k Head over looked it. this is HO Staff didnt look my app properly.

Second he cant award me points on my salary because he thinks my tax return form is duplicate even thought it is signed and stamped by tax off.

please suggest me what should i do.

Thank

Regards,

Basit Ali
