These are some additional consideration points a caseworker is required to make when deciding your application. 10 year long residence category is somewhat related to all of these personal circumstances, therefore a case worker can make a healthier judgement if he also considers your age, strength of connections to the UK, personal history, including character, conduct, associations and employment record as well as your domestic circumstances.
I do not believe you can be discriminated based on these though, they would only be looking at these details in order to judge the "public interest" about your application. After all one of the requirements of 10 year long residency is ;
"There is no reason why it would be undesirable to grant indefinite leave to remain because of public interest issues." Therefore most criminal records or unspent convictions would destroy your application.
