spousal settlement: self-employed sponsor

I would be extremely grateful if someone (who knows!) could confirm for me:

A. It is sufficient for the financial income criteria to show evidence for my company year (Dec 2011 - Nov 2012), and that this can be the total of:
1. Normal PAYE income earn whilst working as an employee;
2. Salary paid to me from my company; and
3. Dividends paid to me from my company.

and

B. There is no requirement for me to show any income earned before or after this time bracket, even if I make the visa application in, say October 2013, since supplying information for the time period overlapping with my company's last full financial year is what is required, and this time period is Dec 2011 - Nov 2012.
