Entry Clearance from Oz

Post by hopefulApplicant » Thu Jan 11, 2007 9:52 pm

I called the British High Commision in Canberra last night, and confirmed that I can apply for HSMP Approval here in the UK, and then apply for entry clearance from Australia when I get home.

I can also do this via the post....there is no need to travel to Canberra. Also, the processing time in Australia is apparently around 5 days. Yay!

Now all I have to do is get my HSMP approved. Gulp!

got the passport back

Post by cagrawal » Sat Jan 13, 2007 3:35 pm

hi,

i had sent my passport for initial HSMP stamping on 08/01/07. Payment was made via postal order. The HSMP people were so nice and they accepted my urgent treatment request and have sent the stamped passport on 13/01/07.

FLR- Urgent Treatment form

Post by sjb2007 » Wed Jan 17, 2007 5:18 pm

Hi Chandan,

I too need to submit an FLR urgent treatment form, but was wondering what evidence i will need to submit with it. I have checked on the form but it is not specific. Are you able to share what type/s evidence you submitted with yours?

Thanks in advance,
sjb

HO told me you dont need to submit any evidence, some ppl send evidence, some dont.... just fax the form.

good luck getting through though, i think the phone has been "taken off the hook" on the fax machine all day

currently in the UK on WP. applied for HSMP on 5-Dec and recieved letter & docunmentation back on 12-Dec.

applied 20-Feb for FLR(HSMP). recieved letter on 24-Feb stating that they recieved my passport and not to contact them for 28 days.

i would very much like to travel over easter so i'm hoping my passport comes back quite quickly!!!

urgent treatment form FLR extension

Post by imperfect_sapien » Fri Nov 30, 2007 9:54 pm

(((((((((((((------HELP----------)))))))))))))))))

Few days ago, I spoke to the an advisor of HSMP team on phone about urgent treatment of FLR(S) application, she told me that my documents would be returned to me without extension visa on my passport, if I fax the urgent treatment form. And I will loose the application fee. :(

Has anyone tried to use urgent treatment form for FLR application. Coz I have got very confused about all this.
