URGENT - Tier 1 Dependent Visa. Kindly Help

Post by pegakrishna » Thu Oct 11, 2012 1:16 pm

Hello everyone,

In 3 weeks time, I'm applying Tier 1 (G) dependent visa from India.

For Accommodation proof, I'm going to submit latest Council Tax Bill. Also, I received a single person discount recently and entry appears in council bill too.

If I submit the council bill, Will it have any impact of my Tier 1 dependent visa application ?

Please do share your valuable inputs. Any one faced similar situation like this ?

Pls advise

If you are claiming a discount that you are entitled to then you have nothing to worry!!

Thanks for your reply.
Will this discount can be considered as utilizing public funds ??
Since this discount appears in council tax bill as a proof for my spouse visa application - any negative impacts ??

Pls advise

There is a difference between "discount" and "public funds".

Thankyou aravindb4u for your reply.

One last thing,
Do I need to sign ALL the pages of Main Applicant's old & new Passport ? Is it Mandatory for Tier 1 dependent appln ?

Another thing is,

I have received a new Indian passport due to change of Indian address. However, I have got tier -1 extension based on Old passport details and received BRP card.

1. Do I need to inform UKBA about the *NEW* passport details ??
2. Soon, I will be applying Tier 1 Dependent Visa from India (submitting both old & new passport page copies) will it have any impact on Tier 1 dependent visa application ??

Kindly, share your valuable inputs accordingly. Thanks

Please help

There is no prescribed instructions issued by UKBA regarding formats of non-mandatory documentary evidences that an applicant may "choose" to include.

To be frank, you are attaching too many documents which are related to your employment, address proof. The main document you missed is marriage subsistence proof. Your marriage photos and invitation card prove that you both are married. But the questions how it is still continuing now ? The proof can be your phone bill mentioning your wife's number in it. Also it would be better with some chat scripts of skype/yahoo with cam photos.May be other members can advice more.

Thanks for your reply. My situation is, within a week's time after marriage, I'm applying for tier 1 dependent visa.

Do I need to provide more documents evidence to support marriage subsistence ??

Pls advise

Iam just curious to understand if these things are really necessary for a dependant application -
• Evidence of Accommodation

o Tenancy Agreement - Original
o NOC (No Objection Certificate) from Landlord/Agent to stay with my husband
o Utility Bill from Veolia Water - Original
o Gas & Electricity Utility Bill Copy from Southern Electric Company
As a main applicant, i did not submit any of these during my visa process in the month of August 2012 and my application was successful.

Can somebody advise ???
