Post by dipmm2000d » Sat Oct 20, 2012 2:00 pm

Hi
I would like to bring this all of your attention, As we all know dependant of 10 year long residency applicant need to complete only 2 years before getting settlement if they have granted visa as family member of PBS/HSMP/WP etc.But i can see here different answer from UKBA and I also have seen before another answer from UKBA where they said 2 years and they have deleted that answer from the website.pls check this...

http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d ... ing-322007

I really need the clarification as i am going to apply for my dependant this month and my application is pending.

Hi Sushdmehta,
I read your thread about it and accordingly i was prepared myself. But my question is why UKBA has responded different way on the website i mentioned today. And why have they deleted previous answer from the website which was exactly the same you have provided. I am really confused.

Immigration rules take precedence over any inaccurate responses from UKBA staff. Simple!!

As to why a member of FOI team has responded with inaccurate answers or why a previous response was deleted - only UKBA can answer such questions.
