Hi Basitali,NNJ,

It is very bad news in the form regarding your rejection reasons. Seems to be they are rejecting the applications with some reason. Those who got the approval also submit the same evidences like you people.

I dont know what the HO people are verifying the evidences.

Too bad my dear friends, hope so other peoples also be prepare the same. OR else we can say that its only LUCK rather than evidences.

Wish you all the best for the next week results.

Regards,
Raman999

Basat... as for as age evidence is concerned that is a foolish mistake made by the HO. Notarised copy of passport is a solid proof of evidence for age allowance as mentioned in guidance and notes.... you will definately win it in your review. But not sure about tax document.

Hi nnj10,

Sorry to hear that your applicatin was rejected....if you have included all the Fout stuff required why dont you just apply for review rather than waiting to appear for IETLS ....I personally think this is best thing to do ...even i submitted the University Letter now i am feeling nervous...
All the best for your future application mate...
nnj10 wrote:Hi Chakri,

Yes, I provided letter from the university, which specified all four stuff:
My Name, Qualification obtained, Date of Award and that it was taught in English.

Inspite of all this it is rejected.

I wish you good luck.

None of the letters from university mention that the degree was taught above level IELTS or bla bla bla. they only say that degree was taught in english.. dont talk to the HO so often...u will get depressed...

I didnt appear for IELTS, i just applied for naric, sent letter from uni + naric letter thats it...

Aussiedude,

Can you tell me what did your letter mention.. Did it say categorically that you have been taught at IELTS level 6.5 or above that level...???

I was speaking to the call center for HO, the lady told me that the letter from the college / university would not help unless it mentions that the degree was taught above level ielts level 6.5 or above that..

incountry application Guys,

Hi

My number was 2034** and decision was made on 11th Jan itself.

I think they must be briefly checking the application and prioritise what seems to be quick to approve (approval or rejection).

In my case, docs were only:
1. Masters and Bachelors Degree - In my covering letter, I had mentioned that these degrees are equivalent as per NARIC
2. Income proof - Employers letter, bank statements and ADDITIONALLY signed salary slips
3. Original IELTS certificate

Since they might have needed to go thru such little documentation, they might have taken the case on priority

I submitted letter from my university and also the corresponding NARIC letter. Since many Engineering colleges in India are affiliated with a major university, i believe its necessary to obtain the letter from University rather than from Engineering college.

It is important that this letter be given in University letterhead, signed and stamped.

The text of my letter as follows.

TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN

This is to certify that ************* was a bonafide student of University of ****** and did studies in the following Instituion

Year Name of the college/Institution Course
1997-2001 ****************** B.Tech/BE

The medium of instruction throughout the course was ENGLISH

Hi Paramjit,

I am indeed, sending a review application, with reasoning that the Guidance notes did not mention that the degree taught shoud meet the IELTS Band 6 and above. They have approved many candidates just based on the letter from the awarding body for the english language.

Thanks,
