Good news...at last

My partner and I are getting married when we are in the US next month. Then I will be able to apply for a settlement visa. I have an appt for my interview in LA on 12 Feb. Hoping it will go smoothly!

Geez, I remember her from years ago on the original version of this forum.
In a few years time we'll look back on immigration control like we look back on American prohibition in the thirties - futile and counter-productive.

She was still very active in the summer. Perhaps she's left since. Too bad. She was so very helpful to lots of people.

There was a time ... when Kayalami and Chess were very active members, The Mafia ... :twisted: (i.e. me) was still in the mainstream public and when workpermit.com consultants such as Victoria Sharkey were contributing regularly to the old forum.

As far as I am aware, Victoria has not made any postings here for many years. In fact if I am not mistaken, she is now employed in another firm of immigration specialists.

Are you sure you have posted in the correct forum?

My ears were burning, so I thought I'd rejoin!

And it is the same one...I started off on this board, back in the day, but skulk elsewhere now.

And I still support Arsenal...though I'm not sure how that little bit of information got out!

I'm not sure how long i'll remain here though...it probably depends when the mightoverlords notice my presence!
