Hi NNj10,

See para 28 on the last page of the HSMP guidance. Why dont you ask HO that why should you not be asked to take IELTS and the result considered during the current application?

Hi meer_jet/All

I sent my HSMP review Application today, by FAX, requesting to review the decsion on my Application. I also requested in such case, where the guidance notes are not clear, regarding checking the Bachelor degree with IELTS Band 6, the applicant should be given a choice to appear an IELTS, and submit the score and that sould be considered, before reaching the decison on the application.

Lets. see what happens.

Meanwhile, I will be taking IELTS soon.

I GOT REJECTION WITH THE SAME REASON AS YOURS. I SPOKE TO A CASE WORKER AND THEY SAY THAT

THE UNIVERSITY THAT IS PROVIDING THE LETTER IS NOT IN NARIC DATA BASE HENCE WE CAN NOT CONSIDER THE LETTER EQUALANT TO IELTS BAND 6 BECAUSE THE UNIVERSITY IS NOT LISTED.

THEY SAID THAT YOU WOULD HAVE DONE DEGREE EVALUATION WITH NARIC AND IF YOU ADD NARIC APPROVAL LETTER STATING THAT THE DEGREE EQUAL TO UK BACHELOR'S DEGREE, THEN THEY WILL ACCEPT THE LETTER FROM UNIVERSITY.

VERY STRANGE.

THEY HAVE NOT STATED THIS IN GUIDENCE NOTES.

THANKS

kumar,

did you get any points for your degree? (unless you have submitted an other degree than the bachelors)

Because if you fail to get points for degree, you automatically fail in the English language, assuming it the same degree you are showing as evidence for the language.

Hello smadan_in,

Your rejection is unfortunate. Even i also planned to send my wage slips
stamped and signed by employer.
now i think it should also have name and designation of the signatory.

can others give their views or more precise and correct understanding to deal this.

I think there is little use looking at their guidance document. Each caseworker seems to have been given a sales target of xxxx GBP per day and they try to meet it by hook or crook.

Their rules mention stamped and signed payslips - nothing regarding naem and designation ---- and this too ONLY for ONLINE PAYSLIPS...

So tommorow you get name and designation, they will say where is the phone number...

DO they realise the trouble we have to go to get our employers to do this clerical work

Hi Umesh, i agree with you.. i am confused now though that should i go for review or risk more money with new application after having the name and designation written.

Hi akumar,

My university is listed in NARIC databse, and I am awrded 30 points for the bachelor degree, as claimed.

Inspite of this my application got rejected, for not MEETING ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT.

It seems, a lot depends on your LUCK, if your case worker is a mood, you have a chance, as different case workerm has different interpretation.

Hope, review application would help.

Hi

My degree is Bachelor of Science ( Maths) from S.K. University, Andhra Pradesh.

Post Graduation (M.B.A) from Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh.

All listed in UGC and NARIC. But they rejected with standard reason same as NNJ10.

Looks like you need a bit of luck.

Applied for review through FAX on 24th wednesday. When I called on Friday they said that they do not have the review application in thier system and asked if I can send the FAX again.

I have sent the review request application again by Royal Mail on Saturday.

Lets wait and see.

After seeing all this, here's the lesson learnt for all the others who are yet to submit their application.

It does'nt matter whether or not you have the letter from your university, it is best to write IELTS and get 6.0 (which most of us can get with a day's preparation).

Yes, a few might have got with the university letter. but a few have been rejected. So IELTS is the way to go.

My own case, I had a letter in exactly the same format as per the guideliness, stamped, singed on letter head. But still, I have written IELTS on the 20th of Jan. once I get the result, will submit my application.

Hi
I have got the same rejection as of nnj10.I scored an overall score of 85 points but they rejected me with the same reason as of nnj10Although my degree was taught in English and I attached a letter from the uni too!!
nnj10 wrote:Hi Rizwan567,

I have included the letter from university clearly mentioning that the Degree was taught in English.

The degree taught in English is above/Below IELTS 6 was not heard beofoe my case.

Blueteam,
The point you are referring to is for the person, who has not submitted either IELTS or the degee taught in English.

In my case I have provided all the evidence for the english language, i.e.
1. Bachelor degree comparable to British Bachelor (Hons.)
2. Letter from the university comfirming my Name, Degree awarded, date of award and that it was taught in English.

Inspite of this I got rejection.

Payslip Format

Post by tundefaboye » Wed Jan 31, 2007 2:53 pm

Hi guys,

Can somebody help me with the format of the Payslips. This is because payslips are electronically generated.

I want to know if payslips printed on a company letter headed paper, stamped and signed by the employer is acceptable.

I wish you all best of luck in your applications.

Tunde
