Photocopies of original docs required by officers via PEO ? anyone have experience of being asked for photocopies when applying in person ?

Yes. I was asked in Croydon. I had photocopy of all the supporting documents with me.

UKBA offices have photocopying machines, where any documents that need to be filed in records can be photocopied by the caseworker / staff.

Your application will not be refused for not providing photocopies.

thanks. photocopies are not mentioned required to be submitted within the form & guidance notes

Photocopies are NOT a requirement while filing the application.

Thus
(1) when you are going for PEO, it is GOOD to take copies with you. It will save your precious time (30-40 min) at the centre.

(2) for a postal application, I feel it is unnecessary as 30 minutes won't make difference. You will also save heavy postal application.
