Please I need Your Help About Spousal Visa

Post by iyanu » Tue Nov 06, 2012 2:49 pm

I have a colleague who is British (divorced) from Africa and just recently met his new fiance via a friend but they have not met yet in person.

They have only been exchanging photos and emails and the lady already met the guys family.

What type visa can she applied for to come to the UK for them to get marry?

Please help guys...How do you think he can get her to the UK without having to travel to the his home country?

Many thanks Lucapooka for your response.

Can she be invited to the UK then and then go back to reapply or can she come into the UK via visitor's Visa first and later apply for spousal visa?

She can enter the UK as a visitor and then leave and apply for a fiancee visa.

Many thanks once again Lucapooka.

Does she have to declare she will be seeing are fiancee during the visit and when applying for the spousal visa will it be OK to just show they have only been seeing each other for just 5-6 months and can only show emails as the only communication support evidence?

Or what are the required documents can they use to support their spousal visa application later in early 2013?

Many thanks for your help so far.

You mean fiancee visa application? After the visit, she would return to her country and apply for a fiancee-settlement visa, enter the UK with that, marry, then settle. All of this being subject to her meeting the requirements for such.
