Dear som1984,

Many Thanks for updating the excel time sheet. Might be I am wrong I have just noticed that the excell sheet is not calculating the working days properly.

My wife has submitted her application on 28th June and I have checked on the website http://www.work-day.co.uk/. It is showing 100 working days but your excell sheet is showing 94 working days.

Can you please amend the file or clarify this as I said might be I am wrong.

Kind Regards

Maybe the spreadsheet is showing Pakistan working days? I think they might be different. Not sure though

Sorry to hear about ur visa refusal akhan. But to be honest you should have submitted an english certificate which is a mandatory requirement (unless you provide a UK NARIC certifcate of comparebility)

But guys i think akhan recieved his passport early because UKBA didnt have to do all other checks and refused his case because of no english certificate.

But my patience are running out day by day as there is no news for june applicants from islamabad. Its nearly end of the week.

UKBA really are a joke.

It's more a reflection of you than it is of me when you use such foul language. You are using abusive language and in the hope it will have an affect on me.

You have been here for over 2 years yet have contributed just 4 posts, I've been more helpful than you have been.

The comment "if you were so good you wouldn't have got refused first time round" is indicative of how shallow you are. I was refused on a ground which numerous other applicants, including my best friend, my brother and colleague within the last 18 months were not refused. In other words, I was refused on a false point. I didn't starting moaning or crying, not even abiout the wait time, because I accepted shit happens and eventually the decision was overturned even before court, backing my claim that they were wrong to refuse in the first place. You say you've been here for 2 years, clearly in that 2 years you are picking and choosing what to read.

Please state where I have given false information. It's all great saying that I am giving false info, as the other members have, but you do not state what that false info is. If it's a case of where the applications are processed, of course I'm right. There still is not adequate resourcing in Pakistan, which is why they have to transfer numerous applications abroad, most of which over the last 12 months have gone to Abu Dhabi. If the false information is regarding how applications are processed, again I've given accurate information, the UKBA staff are trained to identify or suspect false documentation, if they feel that is the case they will review and contact employers. They have a document verification team which is responsible for verifying documents, why would they contact external companies lest they have to? The whole purpose of sending adequate and accurate documentation is to prove your employment status is so they don't have to do further investigation.

It is much simpler to do the A1 test with the NTS organisation, many people who have done the IELTS test, have come across issues regarding the certificates. Some have been refused on the ground of a particular portion of the certificate not being submitted.

Anyone planning on applying in the forseeable future, should try and go for the A1 test if possible, process costs 13k rupees and takes approximately 6-8 weeks to complete.

ofcourse it was settlement case, the reason i think we got quick reply is because we applied in new rules and it was just like point based. so if u tick all the requirement u will get visa but this is my point of view. as a few days ago i read it som1 said tht his relative or friend who applied late july got visa. and one more think I learnt is that more u keep your case simpler the quicker you will get responce. when i was reading this thread and list of document people mentioned I was scared as I had only submitted handful document but once again thanks to ALMIGHTY ALLAH (SWT) tht our prayers were heard and we got visa. I always pray for all of you first and then for myself and hopefully INSHA-ALLAH every one will hear a good news soon.

Remember me in your prayers

You really need to get off your high horse. Even if he has ever given false information to anyone in error he still helps them where he can.

People choose to be upset, I show no emotion in my comments just as ECOs and ECMs show none in their decision making process. The immigration process isn't a life of fairytales. Sooner members on this forum and applicants everywhere realise, the better. It's a long and painful wait and better for them to be aware of it rather than come as a rude shock, which is what's happening to all of them here.

The main thing I want to portray to everyone is, the immigration process is a long one that costs a lot of money and isn't as straightforward as people lead them to believe.
