PBS Dependant OR Spouse Visa

Hello Members,

I am going for ILR in Feb'13 however my wife(not working) has been with me only for 9 months in UK. As per 2 year rule she is not eligible for ILR and I am in a confusion whether should I apply PBS dependant visa OR Spouse visa for her?

I did phone UKBA and the lady clearly told me to apply PBS dependant visa. However after reading couple of posts here I am really in a confused status.

I can see many of you had already come across this situation and your inputs would be much appreciated.

Going for ILR ... on what basis?

Hi sushdmehta,

I came to UK on HSMP(2 year) and then extended my stay on to Tier-1 General(3 years) which is expiring in Mar'13.

Please suggest.
