switch from psw dependant to tier 4 general student ?

Hi,

I am currently on a Post Study Work visa (my visa expires on Nov 2013) and my wife is on PSW dependant visa.

Next year my wife intends to do a Bachelors degree course which would be for about 3 years. So she is planning to apply for a student visa where she will be the applicant and I will be her dependant.

Firstly can she switch from psw dependant to tier 4 general student ?
and can this be done in country itself i.e. without exiting UK?

Also want to check if this option is possible what is the maintenance requirements?

1)it is not possible to switch in country from psw dependent to tier 4 migrant. The application needs to be made from outside the UK.
2) unless she will be a government sponsored student she will not be able to sponsor you as her dependent because her course is below postgraduate level
3) she will need 9 months in living expenses and the first year's tuition fees.

thanks for the reply, yes I check too that the course must be post graduate so that I can apply as her dependant

Yes and a bachelors degree is not postgraduate.
