If your question is that! you wants to work?then you applied as an un married partner,so there is less/no chance in your COA to allow you to work, unless UKBA decide your case, but you are in uk since 1999 and if you have no criminal convictions then there is 99.9% chances of your success.Using bad quality/false I'd or ducoments are very serious criminal offence.

It seems that you have applied for RC based on Zambrano. The recent position of the HO is that Zambrano applies for primary carer of a British child. It will not apply in your case as you are not the only carer. I suggest you contact your solicitor to discuss your options.

Yes we did application for resident card under zambrano in 6 July before law changed. we did silent and didn't indicate sole or primary carer just showed what I m doing daily with her and I do take care of her day to day bases as father role in her life. Keep financial needs and role of father in family life. Full support of my partner and we did submit all three false British passport and my 13 years payslips with tax paid surrendered with application !!!!

I do not understand why you have submitted a SET(O) application. Under what immigration rule do you believe you qualify for settlement?

long resident as I m here for 13 years so requested for ILR or FLR or any maximum period of stay as possible and paid £991 for full ILR to consider my case out of immigration rule request to secratry of state to consider. My solicitor has already said my case is very complicated but do truth ful and we submit all what I had.

Hi, Can anyone help me through this please.
After my case was refused, my appeal was dismissed, Im left a bit frustrated.
Reasons for the refusal is ''My partner who is an is apparently not self sufficient''
Let me be clearer.
My partner is 18, Polish,we have a son of 15 months old, we live together, she's a full time student (Wed-Fri), receiving bursary from college, claiming benefits such as Housing benefit, CTC, Child benefit and Income support.

Well, reasons why she claims public funds is because it obvious, she will not be able to work and study at the same time, and pay the rent (£100/pw), bills, council tax and living expenses on her own.

So, is there any possible way for me (Non EEA National under immigration control) to get an EEA residence card or family permit to stay here?
My son was born here last July 2011 but has a Polish birth certificate, which makes him an EEA member too.

What are your views, opinions or advice?
Thank you in advance for helping those who seek help!

Just received my RC after about 5 months +1 week or so. My timeline is:

EEA2 application sent: 14 Jun 2012
UK Border received: 15 Jun 2012
Sent register letter to chase CoA: 24 Jul 2012
CoA received: 1 Aug 2012 (dated 29 Jul 2012)
RC received: 24 Nov 2012 (date on RC is 11 Nov 2012)

Apart from chasing them for the CoA by registered mail, I never called or emailed them. This is my second EEA2 residence card, I have to say, both times for me were about 5 months in total. It did take them longer to produce the CoA this time. But I think if your application is straightforward (ie, EEA member in full-time employment and married etc), UKBA mostly keep their 6-month timeline.

An American friend of mine (with German husband) got her RC on a piece of paper because she requested their passports back after the CoA.

Hi guys,

Have any July applicants received RC recently? I am Sept applicant (1st September) and I received COA with right to work mid October. I don't think I'd receive it by Christmas but January at least would be good so I can go skiing:(

Yeap, my visa has also expired in the mean time. Whats the point of getting the passport back as I will face problems reentering the UK.

So yea.

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. So I take it presenting your passport and COA at the border wouldn't be enough.

Exactly! My current visa has expired too. The CoA is my legal rights being here now until 28 Jan 2013 and although i have my CoA to support..you will never know if UKBA will hold you at the airport. Don't want to create unnecessary problems and risk it. Plus..If by God's good will I get my RC, I want it stamped on my passport not on a normal piece of paper.

Hi everyone,

Been reading alot of previous posts and beginning to feel very unsettled. We just made the EEA2 application for my partner, and his CoA was received with no confirmation to work. Since he has a Family Permit (as unmarried partners), I have just sent them a letter today asking why he wasnt given confirmation of right to work. However, after reading many of the posts, its seems as though applicants who receive a CoA without permission to work have a higher probability of being refused? Is this true? We have already been through an appeal process and I am praying we dont have to go through another one....his FP is valid until the end of February...please any words of advice would be really appreciated...

Hi Soniac

This is a tricky one..Have you read in the previous post where those on FP given CoA with permission to work? I am just assuming that because it is a family permit they will not give you rights to work until a decision is made. I am not sure though..

Tell us more about your timeline and the whole history of your application
