spouse visa - overcrowding requirements

Dear Board members,

In a 2 bedroom house (2 bedrooms + one reception room all > 50 yards)

will it be considered as three rooms meaning by five persons are permitted to stay?

or
will it be considered as 2 rooms meaning by three persons are permitted to stay?

I am still confused. 2 bedrooms and 1 reception room will they be considered as 3 rooms and hence 5 people are permitted to stay?
