Hi all,my friend applied for eu3 last time they ask for more docs,like landlord letter,tax credit cert,social welfare benefit.p45 for 2007,he gave all required docs but,instead of p45,his wife manage to get an income statement confirming her prsi tax statement,that were not satisfied inis send another letter obliging for a p45,which she doesnot have,the company is dissolved and she didnt receive one and couldnt get in contact with employer. Any solution guys very important.thanks in advance.

she should wrote in and explain the situation as to why p45 is not available. also include other evidence of employment in 2007 like payslips, letter from employer, contract of employment. if she wasn't working, during that time (i.e. part of the year), she should submit a letter from SW stating if she received any benefits during that time. because they there is a record of her being employed for a couple of months that year and the rest time is not shown, that's where all the questions are coming from.

Thanks agniukas your reply,she already gave a letter frm employer,payslips,and even she order a statement from revenue for that company yr ended 2007,bt they were nt satisfied how stupid and said they want p45,she doesnot have.she try to call employer and ask,bt the company is dissolved.no contact.will this p45 affect the application,bt everything else is fine,

Were these documents about the work of the EU citizen or the non-EU citizen?

Were these documents about the work of the EU citizen or the non-EU citizen?




These docs were actually for the eu citizen, she dnt have p45,immigration asking for p45, she provided already letter paylslips and p21 for the year,bt they insist on p45.

She can likely request information from the tax authorities to show she was employed during the whole period, assuming she paid tax

what they want to see if how many months was she employed in the year. for example, maybe she only worked 2 weeks and the other period is unaccounted...

Dear agniuska thanks for that great advice it actually make good sense.,bt she was wrking same company in 2007 earnig 13k on her p21 yr 2008 incom was 5k something,may b thats y they are insisting for p45,any solution for that??? She has no p45.

They are not allowed to require a specific piece of documentation, except for a passport. They have to be flexible about what they require. Push back!

OK, a couple of questions.

Has the already made an EU2 application and was that issued?

The non-EU citizen does not have a P45 for a period of time. What evidence do they have that they were working in this period?

No no Directive its eu 3 nt 2,n p45 for the eu citizen not the non eu.
