eu3 renew

Hello All,

My Eufam 4 will expire on February 2014, but my Gnib Card will expire on October 2013. when should i apply for Eu3, 6 months before the expiry of gnib card or 6 months before the expire of Eufam?

when your gnib card expires in Oct 2013 you have to go to GNIB with your wife and the usual documents to get the remainder of your stamp. I am guessing that's because of the early expiry of your passport.
you can apply for a renewal EU3 6 months before feb 2014, i.e. August 2013. However, if you go to GNIB you will get Stamp 4EUFAM for the remainder of the time, while EUTR section can only issue you with a temp Stamp 4 permission while you are waiting for your decision (thus you will need re-entry visa, etc)

Thank you agniukas for your replay; What do you advice me to do, to apply for a renewal Eu3 on August 2013, and get remainder of my stamp on October to stay always on EUFAM4?
