Applications marked as received on 04/1/07

Post by rk79 » Tue Feb 06, 2007 1:21 pm

Hello,

I have been trying to contact the HSMP people or a couple of days regarding my application with little success. I can
currently only confirm that they are now dealing with applications
marked as received on 4/1/07 which includes mine. The estimate is a
25 day turnaround which suggests a decision this week but I have no news from home.

Can someone please help me by telling me if all application received by 4th January have been cleared and how can I get an update.

I have tried to contact the relevant department at Work Permits UK on a number of occasions this week and been unable to get through at all, which is highly frustrating. I understood that we should be hearing from them, around this time but there is nothing so far.

thanks a lot for your help in advance!

Hello RK,

How can you say that they are processing 4/1 applications because just 2min back i have seen a case who sent application on 20/1 and his case is assigned to caseworker. Please check the same at http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=13492
. I think that varies from case to case and i dont understand on what basis they do that.

regards,
Ram

Not Sure myself...thats the information that I have from the customer services helpline. I cant through to them now. I think they are facing some tech difficulties.

As of Feb 6th afternoon they were processing apps received on Jan 16th (I've noticed they change this date once a week, but I could be wrong) - per the recorded message on the HSMP customer service line. FYI.

Also - when they say they're processing apps received on so n' so date, they mean received at the payment center, not when it actually reaches the HSMP team (clarified to me by one of the customer service agents.)

Application

Post by rk79 » Wed Feb 07, 2007 4:04 am

I have finally succeeded in speaking to someone at Work Permits UK. I have been informed that the application has been reviewed by a case-worker but is still awaiting a final decision. Although these applications can take between 5 and 14 weeks I am informed that they are mostly dealt with in between 5-10 weeks. A precise estimate could not be given to me :(

well as understood ....currently they are doing a lot of application with a date range 14th - 17 jan ...

and that doesnt mean that all the previous aplications have been cleared ....

There will be a lot of applications kept on pending decision due to various reasons like immproper documentation , or complicated cases , toomany proofs which are confusing ... or may be sometings left for verification.....

So please be calm and be patient .... its better to get back the applciation approved after a small delay than get it fast and rejected .. :-)

So hope for the best and wait for the positive outcome ..... :-)
