PLS HELP REGARDING LOST DOCUMENT AND REPRINT

Hi All

HO informed me that they sent my decision letter and all orginal document by air mail on 13th Nov 2006.Still I did not receive that.It means this is lost.As per my calculation 12 weeks will be complete today(4th Feb 2007).

I am requestion exprerienced memeber to help me regarding bellow points-
HO will accept if I sent reprint request by e-mail ?
Anybody can help me how much time they may take to reprint ?
I already requested them to collect reprint by courier.Do you think they may sent it courier ? or HO will send it again by airmail ?

I am really in very bad sitituation.

To replace a lost letter:
54.You may request a reprint of a letter that has
been lost in transit. Requests should be made in
writing, and contain personal details such as your
name, date of birth, and confirmation of the
address for posting. Reprints will be marked
‘Duplicate’ and will normally be free of charge. We
reserve the right to undertake investigations to
confirm that the letter has been lost before
issuing a duplicate.

Thnaks a lot for your quoted advice.

So fur I know they have no any record to trace, so how they can investigate the letter has lost or not.

Anybody can help me who has experienced about this ?

They reserve the right to investigate, that doesn't mean that they will investigate each and every case, just like they are suppose to verify the authenticity of documents submitted with initial application, but they only do that if they think documents are not genuine.

Write a cover letter, tell them that the letter is lost in transit, (mention time lines), ask them to issue a new letter, and mention it in cover letter that you would like to pick HSMP letter via courier service arranged by you. (Based on my personal experience, they have a nasty habit of ignoring courier requests put in by fax and email).

It's YOUR right to claim a duplicate copy of letter if it is lost in transit.

Thanks a lot for your valuable reply.

I already given mail on 5th Feb 2007(as 12 weeks passed on 4th Feb) and resending everyday but still did not get any reply from them.Even they did not inform they received message or not.

I really do not understand why they are not interested to send document by courier.

I gave message on 5th Feb to re-print the decision letter.They are not giving any reply of my message.

Anybody can advice me what can I do now ?
