Terribly confused & worried....please Help !!!!!!!!!

Dear All,

I am really worried now and don't know what to do. Here is my history.

I am on PSW visa at present which is valid for another 16 month.

I got married to a British citizen in Pakistan in June 2012, On our return to the UK i applied for my spouse visa on 3rd July 2012 (before the chamge in rules).

In few days time after submitting my application, I got an acknowledgement letter from the home office that they have received my application for the spouse visa and they will contact me in due course. So far 5 & half months are passed and i haven't received any news or letter from the home office ?

Not evern a letter for the Biometrics. I can see some people on this forum that they have received their approvals or atleast biometrics letter but i didn't. My wife is a civil servant and i am holding a full employment as well. Could any one please advise what to do ?
