Tier 2 ICT short term- UK VISA Extension

Hi All,

I am currenly in UK ( starting 10-Sep'11) on Tier2 ICT short term migrant Visa valid from 15Aug 2011- 16 Aug 2012.

There is a return plan in the month of 10-Feb-2012 and will come back to UK 1-June-2012.

As my VISA is getting expired on 16-Aug-2012 can i get it extended when i am in UK as my stay will be more ( 10-Jan-2013).

Need to get some pointers how I can extend my Visa and stay in UK beyond 16 Aug 2012.

As per the rule, it is not possible to extend the short term visa. You can able to go back to India and apply for a long term visa (if you are eligble for long term)

So what you did finally? Did you return back to India and come back on ICT Long term? Or could you get your VISA converted in ICT Long term while residing here itself?

I have Tier 2 ICT (Short Term) visa from July 2013 to April 2014 (9 month). Can It extend for another 3 month (because it apply only for 9 month because of COS).

Can I switch my Tier 2 ICT (Short Term) to Tier 2 ICT (Long Term) visa.

Kindly help me its very urgent.
