Shall I apply for ILR or Extend my Tier 1

HI

I was issued Tier 1 visa on 29 Dec 2008, and I arrived in UK on 1st April 2009.

So I came 93 days late.

I have had 1 Visa extension, which Extended my visa to 28 Dec 2013.

I have had 28 days of absence after that in Yr 2011 - where I went for a vacation outside UK.

Can I apply for ILR when my Visa comes to an end or do I need to take another Extension.
