Hi

Sent one of my relatives to collect. He just made it in time - By the grace of Allah visa granted. Despite there being a real flaw in the paperwork (?). Just shows what dua \ prayers can do!

Called the wife and told her it was refused! Yes, very awfully of me. But then could not carry on and told her the good news.

For those who have not heard as yet, God willing you will - hang in there! I know it is tough.

Salaam. I m travelling on the 20th of December. Got my spouse visa on 1st of November. I just want to be sure that whether a new valid tb certificate is required or not? Any idea abt the questions asked at the airport? Thanks

No need for a new TB certificate and teh questions depends on the immigration officer but the typical questions are:

1. Marriage date ?
2. What your sponsor do ?
3. Will you work in the UK ?

etc etc

Visa was stamped on the 11 Dec 2012. I hope the remaining applicants hear good new soon. My feeling is that early July applicants from Karachi should hear soon because there have been a few RFCs for 4 July and 6 July applicants recently. Good luck to everyone. Please remember me in your prayers.

Salaam All,

Visa Granted Alhumdulillah.

My Timeline is as follows:

Application Submission Date: 19th October 2012
Place of Submission: Karachi
Application Under Process at BHC: 5th November 2012
RFC Received: 13th December 2012
Visa Granted: 14th December 2012

Only took 8 weeks of processing. So I am assuming that Post July 6th Applicants must be all getting a very quick response.

Also, I have queries regarding my wife's initial entry to UK so will appreciate if you can look here and respond as well.

Thanks
Hammad

You will have 28 days to appeal. With the paperwork send your certificates and the payment all together... It take a few extra weeks and you will receive in the post a letter from tribunal saying they have sent papers off to Islamabad and you get a 19 week dead line. Anytime inbetween they can accept it and overturn their decision. And if they do not overturn it they will give you a court date, which can take an extra 8 weeks. Then fight it in court.... I hope that helps.

You should as your solicitor what are you paying him for? If a solicitor can't tell you what docs you need, and where to get them from, who else will?

I'm always reluctant to refer people to solicitors as many of them do very little to justify the obscene amounts they charge.

Zully has explain the process to you, it might be easiest if you appealed online at the following location:

http://www.justice.gov.uk/tribunals/imm ... um/appeals

They will require the documents to be sent shortly after you've submitted the appeal with the covering letter you print off. You can save your appeal and and work on it later and then submit as well. Payments taken online are much quicker as well.

This update is in line with other people's (14 days from handing application in). Now the real wait begins!!

@ KHamy20:

The financial requirements form (Appendix 2) needs to be filed out by hand. You can print form out from here :

Im just at my last stags of appeal, and you solicitor is correct. i know that tribunal have a 7 week delay at present, and you get a 19 week dead line for ukba to reconsider, there are some guys who were over turned within 3 months.... but one of them girls also waited 3 months for passport to come back stamped.... so its all swings n roundabouts. so prepare fro the worst which can be 6/7 months for it going to court.

Hi

I am new to the forum but have been reading the previous pages.
Id like to know if anyone application was refused on 8th October?

I now have to wait until 19th March for a reply fom the ECO.

Does my timeline resemble anybodys?

Thanks

Hi. I'm a November appeal person. I don't know anyone in march. I know one for February, and two who will be April or may time....
You never know if your lucky it may get overturned within 3 months...

Hi
Thanks for the reply
At the moment going through everyday is a mission especially when in the next month it will b 3 years apart from my hubby
I have made a couple of trips back home but now hubby emphasising that march 19 will be when enough is enough
He misses his daughter greatly and having first application refused then going through appeal again and putting in the second fresh application, that also being refused and waiting for hopefully getting the decision to b overturned is pathetic
Reasons are so bizarre that it would be. A joke to put them up
Anyway I pray that every1 gets positive results soooon
InshAllah

I have got my mp involved but she got a reply back a month later that my hubby papers have not been received
I emailed her the copy from the ukba that our entry has been lodged and they have told the Eco to reach a decision by march 19

I have asked my solicitor to write an email too this was a week ago
I will get in touch with after the 25 th
That's as far as I can go with contacts but hey the Biggest contact of all is the Almighty so please pray for me as I will pray for u guys that I hear positive news soon as Zully says
Inshallah
